Why is my Suzuki Swift losing power and giving low fuel average? Could the catalytic converter be clogged?

My 2015 Swift feels sluggish, especially during acceleration, and the fuel average has ped noticeably. A friend suggested the catalytic converter might be choked. How common is this in Pakistan, and what are the symptoms of a clogged catalytic converter?
