Why is my Swift jerking o r losing power during acceleration? Could it be a clogged fuel filter?

My 2013 Suzuki Swift jerks o r hesitates when I accelerate, especially when overtaking o r going uphill. Someone suggested the fuel filter might be clogged. Is this a common issue in Pakistan due to dirty petrol, and how can I confirm if it’s the filter?

Symptoms of a clogged fuel filter:

Jerking o r lag during acceleration

Engine misfires o r hesitation under load

Difficulty starting

Engine stalling at low RPM
