Why Is the Cabin Noise So High in My Suzuki Khyber?

Suzuki Khyber is an older model with basic insulation. Many owners complain about road noise, engine sound, and even wind noise inside the cabin, especially at high speeds. The issue is mostly due to lack of sound-deadening material, worn rubber seals, and aging body parts that let in vibrations and noise.

Cabin noise is a common complaint in Khyber, especially at higher speeds. The main reasons are:

Lack of sound insulation in the doors, floor, and roof common in older models.

Worn-out rubber door seals allow wind and road noise to seep in.

Aging suspension o r engine mounts can cause vibrations and rattling sounds.

Loose interior panels o r dashboard components may add to the noise.

Fixes:

Add sound-deadening sheets like Dynamat o r local alternatives inside doors and under the carpet.

Replace old door rubbers and window channels.

Tighten any loose interior fittings.

Use good quality tyres that reduce road noise.
