Why is the paint flaking off my Mehran’s plastic bumpers?

The paint on both bumpers is flaking off badly, while the rest of the body paint is okay. I haven’t hit anything, so it’s not from damage. Are the bumpers painted differently, o r was it poor-quality paint?

Plastic bumpers require a special primer before painting. If the paint flakes off:

It was likely painted without proper adhesion promoter

Cheap paint o r poor surface prep was used

Bumpers flex, so low-quality paint can’t hold You’ll need to sand and repaint the bumper properly, using plastic primer for long-lasting results.
