Why is there a fuel smell inside my Suzuki Swift after refueling?

Whenever I fill up my Suzuki Swift, there’s a strong petrol smell inside the cabin, especially when the car is parked. I suspect a loose fuel cap o r a cracked fuel line. Is this a common issue in Swift models in Pakistan, and how can I safely identify the source?
