Window Moves Very Slowly o r Stutters

Sometimes my United Alpha’s window goes up o r down very slowly, o r it “jumps” a little instead of gliding smoothly. What are the most likely reasons for this sluggish behavior? Could it be lack of lubrication in the tracks, a weak motor, misaligned regulator, o r dirt/debris buildup? What maintenance steps o r fixes are commonly used in Pakistani conditions to address this?

Slow o r uneven window movement is usually caused by:

Dirty o r dry window tracks: Dust, sand, and grime from Pakistani roads can accumulate, causing friction.

Weak o r aging motor: Motors lose power over time, especially in high-temperature areas.

Misaligned regulator: Tracks o r regulators can get bent, causing uneven motion.

Debris inside the door panel: Small stones o r grime can jam the mechanism.

Fix:

Clean and lubricate the window tracks with silicone spray o r lithium grease.

Test motor strength replace if weak.

Realign o r replace the regulator if bent o r worn.

Keep the door panel and mechanism free of dirt and debris.
