Your advice on CNG khyber

Salam, I've installed a CNG in my khyber and the problem now I'm facing with my woofer is that its not providing me the BASS as it was giving before because i had to shift the woofer to upper side and thus the Woofer box has also reduced. Can anyone help how to get rid of it its a 12" SONY XPLOD woofer.

i faced the same problem with my khyber after installing cng. What i did was. Got a new stand for the cylinder. Shifted the cylinder down. To get the spare wheel out then i had to decline the back seats, No other possibility of geting the spare wheel outy from the trunk door.

So yo have got a bit space above the cylinder, you can get a sealed box and get some 2 or 4 speakers fitted in that,,. it wont block the rear screen. Connect the speakers with amp.

Now coming to the quality of sound (WOOOOOOFER). You cant get a quality from 12inch woofer unless you have good space in trunch or have some ported box.

Whati did was went to hall road lahore (music system installation market). Got two 7 inches woofers of home use (taiwan mader) for 1400 rupees. Then went to a box maker and got a sealed box of small size. Now please note that resitance of the woofer speakers used in home system is low so you have to give cross connections to each cable to make them work for car amp. otherwise the woofers will blow out. so it will be in parrellel connect and not series. i checked the internet at that time before making it. So double check with the installer. but i know they were crossed.

So sealed box is the only option which you can place at the back of your seat and it will be betwwen your cylinder and seat,,, you will enjoy reasonable sound quality inside car but it wont be like a big woofer which you used to enjoy earlier with ported boz with free trunk
