Are loose o r rattling exterior panels a common problem in the Wagon R?

Some owners mention rattling noises coming from the doors, bumpers, o r tailgate at higher speeds o r on rough roads. Is this due to weak clips o r poor build quality? How can it be fixed effectively?

Yes, many Wagon R owners report:

Loose bumpers o r door panels, especially after a few years.

This is often due to cheap plastic clips o r fasteners that wear out.

It can also be caused by road vibrations o r minor impacts loosening parts.

Solution:

Have a mechanic inspect and replace broken clips o r fasteners.
