Why does my Suzuki Every’s steering feel hard, especially at low speeds?

I own a 2013 Suzuki Every and the steering feels very hard when turning at low speeds o r while parking. Its especially difficult when the engine is cold. I’m not sure if it has electric o r hydraulic power steering. What could be causing this stiffness, and what are the common fixes in Pakistani conditions?

Hard steering at low speeds is a common complaint in Suzuki Every, especially in JDM imported models with Electric Power Steering EPS.

Possible Causes:
Faulty o r weak EPS motor common in older models

Low battery voltage o r weak alternator EPS depends on electricity

Dry o r damaged steering column joints o r universal joints

Wheel alignment issues o r low tire pressure

What to do:

Get your battery and alternator tested

Ask a mechanic to scan for EPS error codes

Lubricate o r check the steering linkage and joints

Ensure front tires are inflated properly and evenly
