Why does my Wagon R show uneven tire wear despite keeping tire pressure checked regularly? Detail:

I check my tire pressure every week and maintain it as recommended, but my front tires still wear unevenly. Is this related to suspension issues, tire quality, o r should I be rotating the tires more often?

Even with proper inflation, uneven wear may be due to:

Lack of rotation: Front tires wear faster due to steering and engine weight. Without rotation, they’ll degrade quicker.

Suspension misalignment: Bad alignment causes uneven tread contact.

Poor tire quality: Low-grade tires often wear irregularly, especially in heat o r on rough roads.

Driving habits: Hard cornering, fast braking, and rough roads contribute to uneven wear.

Fix:

Rotate tires every 8,000–10,000 km.

Do a wheel alignment every 6 months o r after hitting potholes.

Use reputable tire brands suited to Pakistan’s road conditions e.g., Dunlop, General, Yokohama.

Inspect suspension components regularly for wear and play.
