Are the headlights and visibility of Suzuki Wagon R adequate for night driving in Pakistan?

Night driving in many parts of Pakistan, especially on poorly lit roads o r highways, is challenging. I’ve heard complaints that the Wagon R’s headlights are not strong enough. Is poor visibility a common safety issue for this car?

No, headlight performance is a weak point in the Suzuki Wagon R. Common issues include:

Low beam range is short, making it difficult to see ahead clearly at night.

Reflectors are basic, and the light spread is narrow.

The headlights are halogen type, which are outdated compared to LED o r projector lamps.

On highways o r rural roads with poor lighting, visibility becomes a serious safety issue, increasing the risk of accidents. Many Wagon R owners upgrade to aftermarket LED bulbs o r HID kits to improve visibility, though these must be adjusted properly to avoid blinding other drivers.
