Braking Performance and ABS Warning Issues

Braking Performance and ABS Warning Issues

There have been complaints about inconsistent braking feel and occasional ABS warning lights appearing on the Proton X70. How serious is this issue from a safety perspective, what usually triggers the ABS warning, and what steps should owners take to ensure safe braking performance?

The Proton X70 comes equipped with standard braking safety features such as ABS Anti-Lock Braking System and EBD Electronic Brake-force Distribution to help maintain control during braking. However, some owners report inconsistent brake feel o r ABS warnings — such as spongy brakes, pulsations, o r vibration through the pedal — often noticed after service visits o r as sensors detect braking system anomalies. These symptoms can come from worn brake pads/rotors, low hydraulic pressure, o r sensor issues rather than faults with ABS itself. Regular brake inspections and correct part replacements are critical to keeping braking performance safe.
