Can using low-quality bulbs damage my Suzuki Wagon R’s lighting system?

I’m using cheap aftermarket bulbs to save money, but they seem to burn out quickly. Can using these low-quality bulbs harm my car’s electrical system o r cause other problems?

While low-quality bulbs may not directly damage the entire lighting system, they can cause:

Frequent bulb burnout, increasing replacement costs.

Overheating of bulb sockets if bulbs are poorly made o r not rated correctly.

Increased risk of electrical arcing due to inconsistent filament performance.

Poor lighting performance that compromises safety.

It’s always better to invest in OEM o r reputed brand bulbs like Philips o r Osram to ensure longer life and consistent performance.
