Yes, both CNG installation and low-quality fuel can negatively impact fuel efficiency:

CNG kits especially unapproved ones can mess with the engine’s ECU settings, reducing petrol efficiency even when running on petrol.

Adulterated petrol mixed with kerosene o r low-grade additives is common at unreliable fuel stations and causes poor combustion, damaging injectors and lowering mileage.

Inconsistent fuel quality leads to engine knocking, carbon buildup, and long-term damage to the fuel system.
