Does the Suzuki Wagon R offer enough protection in case of a road accident?
Does the Suzuki Wagon R offer enough protection in case of a road accident?
Considering the high number of road accidents in Pakistan, I’m concerned about how well the Suzuki Wagon R holds up in a crash. Since the local version lacks features like side airbags o r reinforced body structure, is it safe enough for highway and city driving?

The Suzuki Wagon R manufactured in Pakistan by Pak Suzuki lacks many of the modern safety features found in international models. Key concerns include:
Only one airbag driver side in the AGS variant, while VX and VXR have no airbags at all.
No side o r curtain airbags, no traction control, and no electronic stability control ESC.
The body structure is relatively lightweight and lacks crumple zones, meaning impact protection is minimal in a serious crash.
In case of an accident, occupants are at higher risk compared to other hatchbacks with more safety equipment like Kia Picanto o r Toyota Vitz. It is generally considered unsafe for high-speed driving o r highway use, especially for families.
