How Can I Fix Paint Peeling from the Bumpers of My Wagon R?

The paint on the plastic bumpers of my Suzuki Wagon R has started to peel off, especially around the edges. Is this a known issue? Whats the best way to repaint o r touch up these areas without it peeling again?
