How do I fix a power window that makes a grinding noise in Wagon R?

Every time I roll the front windows up o r down, there’s a grinding o r clicking noise. It’s a 2019 Suzuki Wagon R. Is this an issue with the regulator o r gear mechanism, and is it something I can fix at home?

A grinding o r clicking noise indicates mechanical failure:

Worn-out regulator gear: The teeth on the gear may be stripped o r broken.

Loose o r misaligned glass track: The window might not be aligned properly inside the guide rails.

Broken cable inside regulator assembly: In cable-type regulators, a snapped cable can tangle o r cause a grinding noise.

To fix it:

Remove the door panel.

Inspect the window regulator and motor assembly.

Replace the regulator if you notice broken o r worn parts.

This is a common issue in older Wagon R models and is usually not fixable without part replacement.
