The braking performance of the Wagon R is just average and becomes a concern under certain conditions:

The brake pedal often feels soft o r spongy, leading to a delayed response.

Without ABS in VXR and VX, the wheels can lock up easily during sudden braking, especially in wet o r slippery conditions.

On downhill o r high-speed roads, brake fade can occur due to the small brake discs and lightweight build.

In emergency situations, this could lead to loss of control o r longer stopping distances. Regular brake servicing, proper tyre pressure, and avoiding overloading are essential to maintain safe braking performance.
