How often should I check tire pressure on my Hyundai Elantra in local driving conditions?

In cities like Rawalpindi and Faisalabad where temperatures and road conditions vary, how frequently should I check and adjust my Elantra’s tire pressure? Is monthly checking enough, o r should I do it more often, especially before long trips?

In Pakistan’s conditions, it’s best to:

Check tire pressure at least once every 2 weeks, especially during weather changes.

For daily city drivers: every 2–3 weeks is okay if the tires are new and TPMS is working.

Before long highway trips e.g., Lahore to Islamabad: Always check tire pressure and condition.

Also:

Use a digital o r manual pressure gauge for accurate readings.

Visit reliable fuel stations o r tire shops, as some air pressure machines are inaccurate o r uncalibrated.

Regular checking extends tire life, improves fuel efficiency, and keeps the ride comfortable.
