Why does one tire of my Elantra keep losing air more quickly than the others?

One of the front tires on my Hyundai Elantra loses air faster than the rest. I’ve checked for visible punctures and leaks but found nothing. Could it be due to a valve issue o r something related to the rim? This happens often when I drive on uneven roads o r potholes.

If one tire keeps losing air, common reasons in Pakistan include:

Puncture o r slow leak – Sometimes punctures from glass, nails, o r sharp stones cause a slow leak not easily seen.

Faulty valve stem – The air valve may be cracked o r leaking, especially in older tires o r after multiple refills.

Damaged rim – On bumpy roads o r after hitting potholes, the rim may bend slightly, causing a poor seal.

Bead leak – If tires are poorly installed o r old, air may leak from where the tire meets the rim.

Take the car to a trusted tire shop for a leak test with soap water o r submersion. In many cases, replacing a valve o r repairing the bead solves the issue.
