Why does my Hyundai Elantra keep showing the TPMS warning even after inflating the tires?

I drive a Hyundai Elantra 2021 in Islamabad, and the tire pressure monitoring system TPMS warning light comes on frequently, even though I’ve checked and filled all tires to the recommended pressure. Could this be a sensor issue, o r is it due to weather changes?

The TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System light in your Elantra may stay on even after inflating tires due to:

Sensor calibration issues – The TPMS needs to be reset manually in some models after refilling air.

Temperature changes – In places like Islamabad o r Murree, cooler nights can lower tire pressure and trigger a false warning.

Faulty TPMS sensor – A weak sensor battery o r malfunctioning sensor can send incorrect signals.

Uneven inflation – If one tire is slightly underinflated compared to the others, the system may still show a warning.

Try resetting the TPMS using the steering wheel buttons o r infotainment settings. If the issue persists, have a mechanic scan the TPMS sensors with a diagnostic tool.
