How reliable is the CVT transmission in the DFSK Glory 580 in Pakistani conditions?

Since the DFSK Glory 580 comes with a CVT transmission, I’m curious to know how well it holds up in Pakistans climate and road conditions. Are there any common complaints about transmission failure, jerking, o r overheating? What’s the cost and availability of repairs o r replacement if something goes wrong?

What people report:

There are mentions of “jerk” o r “shudder” in acceleration o r when moving from low to moderate throttle. Some say the CVT isn’t as smooth as expected.

However, not many reports of full transmission failure o r catastrophic CVT breakdowns at least as per public forum discussions, but the feeling of less-than-perfect smoothness seems common.

What helps / what owners suggest:

Getting the CVT fluid changed properly as per schedule. Ensuring servicing is done at authorized / experienced dealerships. Sometimes jerks are caused by engine misfires o r sensor issues rather than transmission itself.
