Is it normal for a Wagon R to have alternator issues before 60,000 km?

My 2020 Wagon R Pakistani assembled has only 58,000 km on the odometer, but I’ve already had to jump-start the car twice in the past month. A mechanic told me the alternator might be getting weak. Isn’t this too early for alternator failure? Are faulty alternators common in Wagon Rs, o r could it be due to using too many electrical accessories like mobile chargers, speakers, etc.?

It’s not normal, but it can happen, especially in Pakistan due to:

Poor-quality o r refurbished alternators in local market

Use of low-quality electrical accessories cheap chargers, HID kits, amplifiers

Overheating o r dusty conditions causing premature wear

What You Should Do:

Ask your mechanic to check alternator bearing noise, belt tension, and regulator output.

Avoid using unnecessary electrical load if the alternator is weak.

If alternator is faulty, go for a genuine o r branded replacement preferably Denso o r OEM.

Tip: Use an alternator from a trusted source—local rebuilds often fail early.
