Is it safe to use kabli used Mercedes transmission parts in Pakistan?

My Mercedes E-Class W211 is having transmission issues, and my mechanic recommended replacing the valve body and conductor plate. He suggested using kabli parts from a local market in Rawalpindi. Are these used parts reliable for Mercedes transmissions? o r should I consider importing new ones, even though it’s more expensive?

Jerking during gear shifts in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, especially models with the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission like your W204, is a common issue that can be caused by several factors:

Old o r degraded transmission fluid ATF – In Pakistan’s hot climate and heavy traffic, fluid breaks down faster. If it hasnt been changed in the last 50,000–60,000 km, its due.

Low-quality o r wrong ATF used – Some workshops in Pakistan may use cheap o r incompatible fluid. Always insist on Mercedes-approved ATF like Shell 134 o r equivalent.

Faulty valve body o r conductor plate – These internal parts can fail, causing jerky o r delayed shifts.

Software issues – The TCU Transmission Control Unit may need an update o r reset via a STAR diagnostic tool.

Recommendation:
Have the transmission fluid checked and replaced using genuine fluid. Also, get a full scan using the Mercedes STAR diagnostic tool available at specialist German car workshops in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, etc.. Avoid roadside mechanics who “guess” issues, as improper repair can worsen the problem.
