Is the air conditioning system in the Suzuki Wagon R effective during hot summers in Pakistan?

With temperatures often exceeding 40°C in cities like Multan and Karachi, some Wagon R owners complain that the AC struggles to cool the cabin quickly, especially in traffic. Is this a design flaw o r an issue with the cars compact engine handling both cooling and performance?

The AC in the Suzuki Wagon R is average, but struggles in extreme heat, especially during:

Peak summer months May–August in cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Multan.

Stop-and-go traffic, where airflow is reduced and engine RPM is low.

With full passenger load, cooling becomes even slower.

The 1.0L engine is under stress when the AC is running, particularly with additional load o r uphill driving. To improve performance:

Keep the cabin ventilated before turning on AC.

Ensure AC gas levels and filters are regularly maintained.

Install tinted windows legally allowed range to reduce cabin heat.
