Is tyre noise a common problem in the Suzuki Swift at higher speeds?

Many people have mentioned that tyre noise becomes noticeable in the cabin when the Swift is driven above 80–100 km/h. Is this a flaw with the tyre brand used by Suzuki in Pakistan, o r does it relate more to road grip o r wheel alignment?

Yes, tyre noise is frequently noticed in the Swift once you go above 80–100 km/h, especially on Pakistani highways like M2 o r M5. The reasons include:

Hard compound OEM tyres like General that generate more road noise.

Tyre wear patterns due to poor alignment o r uneven surfaces.

Insufficient cabin insulation, which allows road noise to filter into the car.
Switching to quieter, soft-compound tyres e.g., Dunlop SP Sport LM704, Yokohama BlueEarth can significantly reduce tyre noise. Also, ensuring proper alignment and balancing helps lower rolling noise.
