Jerking and Delayed Gear Shifts in DFSK Glory 580 Pro – Transmission Issue?

I own a 2022 DFSK Glory 580 Pro in Lahore with around 30,000 km mileage. Lately, I’ve noticed jerking when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and sometimes a delay in acceleration after pressing the pedal. Is this a sign of CVT transmission failure? Has anyone in Pakistan had to replace o r repair the transmission on this model? Also, how is the parts availability and cost for CVT-related repairs?

es, jerking and delayed shifts in the DFSK Glory 580 Pro are commonly reported among owners in Pakistan. This could be due to:

Low-quality o r old CVT fluid: CVT fluid degrades over time and loses viscosity. Try replacing the fluid if you haven’t already done so.

Throttle body o r sensor issue: Sometimes its not the transmission but a faulty throttle position sensor TPS o r dirty throttle body, which can confuse the CVT into shifting improperly.

Driving habits: Rapid acceleration o r heavy loads can cause more noticeable jerks in CVT systems.

CVT Belt Slippage: If the belt inside the CVT gearbox is worn, it can lead to delayed response.

In Pakistan, CVT parts are not always available easily, but Lahore and Karachi have a few DFSK-certified workshops o r Chinese auto parts importers. You may be quoted around PKR 100,000–150,000 for a full CVT repair o r replacement, depending on damage.
