What causes delayed throttle response o r engine lag in the Suzuki Wagon R?

Some Wagon R users report a delay between pressing the accelerator and actual engine response, especially in AGS Auto Gear Shift models. Is this caused by ECU tuning, throttle body issues, o r something else affecting engine performance?

Throttle lag in the Wagon R, especially in AGS models, is caused by:

Electronic throttle control ETC delays, which process input via sensors.

Poor AGS calibration leading to slower gear responses.

Dirty throttle body o r malfunctioning MAF sensor affecting fuel-air mixture.

Old o r mismatched spark plugs causing inefficient combustion.

Solution:

Clean the throttle body and check sensors.

Update AGS software o r recalibrate the system at a Suzuki dealership.

Replace **spark plugs with genuine NGK/Champion
