Jerky o r hard shifts are common in AMT Auto Gear Shift models and can feel like a sudden jolt between gears. Causes include:

Worn clutch plate – Reduces smooth engagement/disengagement.

Improper clutch calibration – Especially in AGS/AMT systems.

Low transmission fluid – Leads to poor hydraulic pressure.

Dirty o r clogged transmission valve body – Affects gear change timing.

Faulty speed sensors – Cause incorrect shift logic.

Fix: Have the AMT system recalibrated using diagnostic tools. Change the transmission fluid if its dirty o r low, and inspect for software updates o r sensor faults.
