What causes rough idling o r engine stalling in my Wagon R?

My 2018 Suzuki Wagon R sometimes idles roughly and has even stalled a few times at traffic signals. The RPM seems unstable. Is this related to the idle air control valve IACV o r a faulty throttle position sensor TPS? How can I check these sensors?

Unstable idle o r engine stalling is usually linked to air-fuel mixture o r engine timing. Sensor-related causes include:

Idle Air Control Valve IACV: If clogged o r malfunctioning, it wont regulate airflow properly at idle.

Throttle Position Sensor TPS: A failing TPS can send erratic signals, confusing the ECU about throttle input.

MAP Sensor: If it provides incorrect pressure readings, the ECU might over- o r under-fuel the engine.

Fix:
Start by cleaning the throttle body and IACV. If the issue persists, have a mechanic check the TPS using a multimeter to confirm if its sending a smooth voltage range as the throttle opens.
