What causes scalloped o r cupped tire wear in my Wagon R?

My 2017 Wagon Rs front tires are showing scalloped o r cupped wear patterns—uneven, wavy tread wear around the edges. There’s also a slight vibration at high speed. Is this caused by bad shocks o r struts, and how can I fix it?

Scalloping o r cupping bumpy, uneven tread wear often means there’s an issue with vertical suspension movement:

Worn shocks o r struts: They can’t control tire bounce, causing uneven contact with the road.

Unbalanced tires: Poor balance causes the tire to bounce and develop a cupped wear pattern.

Loose suspension components: Worn-out bushings o r tie rods can worsen tire movement and wear.

Fix:
Check and replace shocks/struts if they’re worn especially if car bounces more than once after pushing down on a corner. Get wheels balanced and ensure suspension parts are tight and undamaged.
