My Proton X70’s dashboard recently showed a warning and some codes related to slipping/clutch issues e.g., P081E00 o r similar. I’m concerned this might indicate transmission failure, worn clutch components, o r TCM issues. Has anyone else encountered these fault codes? What steps did your dealership o r mechanic take to diagnose and fix the problem? Should specific parts like clutch packs, valve bodies, o r software updates be checked first?
