Why are the front tires on my Suzuki Wagon R wearing out faster than the rear ones?

I’ve noticed that the front tires of my 2020 Suzuki Wagon R are wearing out much faster than the rear ones. I drive mostly in the city. Is this normal for a front-wheel-drive car, o r could it indicate a problem with alignment, suspension, o r tire pressure?

This is generally normal for front-wheel-drive FWD cars like the Wagon R, but excessive o r rapid wear could indicate:

Front-wheel drive load: Front tires handle most of the power, braking, and steering in a FWD vehicle, causing faster wear.

Improper tire pressure: Over- o r under-inflation leads to uneven tread wear.

Wheel misalignment: If the toe o r camber angles are off, tires scrub against the road surface.

No tire rotation: Without regular rotation every 8,000–10,000 km, the front tires wear faster.

Fix:
Rotate tires every 8,000–10,000 km, check tire pressure monthly, and get a wheel alignment at least once a year o r after hitting a pothole.
