Why do my power door locks work with the key fob but not the interior switch?

In my 2020 Suzuki Wagon R, the doors lock/unlock fine using the remote, but the interior button on the driver’s side doesnt respond at all. Is the switch faulty o r could there be an issue in the wiring o r central lock control system?

This is usually an issue with the switch itself o r its connection:

Faulty interior switch: The switch on the driver’s door panel may be broken o r have dirty contacts.

Disconnected wire o r plug: A loose o r broken wire between the switch and central lock control module can prevent signal transmission.

Failed central locking relay interior side: In rare cases, the relay controlling the signal from the interior switch can fail, even though the remote signal works.

Fix: Remove the interior switch panel and test for continuity with a multimeter. If faulty, replace the switch. Check connectors for damage o r corrosion.
