Engine sputtering during acceleration can be caused by several issues:

Ignition system problems: Worn spark plugs, faulty ignition coils, o r damaged spark plug wires can cause inconsistent firing.

Clogged o r dirty fuel injectors: Fuel injectors may not deliver fuel evenly, causing misfires.

Air-fuel mixture issues: A malfunctioning mass airflow sensor MAF o r oxygen sensor can cause incorrect fuel delivery.

Fuel pump issues: Low fuel pressure from a failing fuel pump can cause sputtering.

Vacuum leaks: Air entering through leaks disrupts the air-fuel ratio.

Fix: Inspect and replace spark plugs and ignition components if worn. Clean o r replace fuel injectors and sensors as needed. Check for vacuum leaks and repair any found.
