Why does my Suzuki Wagon R radiator hose keep bursting o r leaking frequently?

I’ve replaced my Wagon R radiator hoses twice in a year because they keep bursting o r leaking. Is this a common problem? What could be causing these repeated hose failures in Pakistani conditions?

Frequent radiator hose failures in Suzuki Wagon R in Pakistan are often due to the following reasons:

High Under-hood Temperatures: Pakistan’s hot climate causes the rubber hoses to deteriorate faster.

Poor Quality o r Aftermarket Hoses: Low-quality hoses are less heat and pressure resistant.

Incorrect Coolant o r Water Usage: Using plain water o r non-recommended coolants can cause corrosion and swelling, weakening the hoses.

Faulty Radiator Cap o r Thermostat: Over-pressurization of the cooling system can stress hoses and cause bursts.

Clamps and Installation Issues: Loose o r rusty clamps can cause leaks o r hose damage.

Recommendations:

Use good quality, OEM o r branded hoses.

Flush the cooling system and use recommended coolant.

Replace the radiator cap and thermostat if old.

Regularly inspect clamps and replace if corroded o r loose.
