Why Does My Suzuki Wagon Rs Windshield Stay Streaky Even After Cleaning? Detail:

No matter how many times I clean the windshield of my Wagon R, it still looks hazy o r streaky under sunlight o r at night. I’ve used water and even shampoo. Is this a common issue in Pakistan due to dust o r pollution?

This is a common issue in Pakistan due to:

Hard water from tanki/car wash stations.

Poor-quality cloths that leave lint o r detergent residue.

Cleaning in direct sunlight, which causes soap to dry before you can wipe it clean.

Fixes:

Use a microfiber cloth and proper glass cleaner not detergent o r shampoo.

Clean in the shade and dry the glass immediately with a clean cloth.

Try using a vinegar-water solution 50/50 mix to cut through greasy film.

Pro Tip:
Avoid using old t-shirts, newspapers, o r washing powders — they leave residues that cause streaking.
