Why does the interior of the Suzuki Wagon R feel outdated compared to other cars in its price range?

Why does the interior of the Suzuki Wagon R feel outdated compared to other cars in its price range?

Many buyers in Pakistan feel that the Wagon R’s interior design is basic and lacks the modern styling seen in newer hatchbacks. With its hard plastic dashboard, manual climate controls, and minimal infotainment options especially in lower variants, is Pak Suzuki lagging behind in updating the interior features to match market expectations?

Yes, many Pakistani Wagon R owners feel the interior looks and feels outdated, especially when compared to competitors like the Kia Picanto, United Alpha, o r even Suzuki’s own Cultus. Key issues include:

Hard plastic dashboard with basic rectangular styling.

No digital climate control, even in the AGS variant.

No factory touchscreen o r multimedia unit in lower trims.

Analog instrument cluster and manual side mirrors in VX/VXR.

Pak Suzuki has made very few updates since the car’s launch in 2014. Buyers now expect modern interiors even in budget cars, and the Wagon R is falling behind in this regard.
