Why does the Suzuki Wagon R feel unstable at high speeds o r during sudden turns?

Many Wagon R drivers in Pakistan report that the car feels unstable o r top-heavy when driving over 100 km/h o r taking quick turns. Is this due to its tall design and lightweight frame? Does this affect its safety during emergency maneuvers o r while driving on highways?

Yes, stability is a known issue in the Wagon R due to its:

Tall and narrow design, leading to a high center of gravity, which causes body roll.

Lightweight construction under 850 kg, making it more susceptible to crosswinds and losing balance during sharp turns o r lane changes.

Basic suspension setup, which doesn’t provide strong grip o r handling at higher speeds.

At speeds above 90–100 km/h, o r during sudden swerving, the car may feel wobbly o r floaty, which can be dangerous. It’s recommended to drive cautiously and avoid overloading, especially in hilly o r high-speed conditions.
