Delayed gear shifts o r hesitation during acceleration can occur in both manual and automatic AGS/AMT Wagon R variants. Common causes include:

Low o r old transmission fluid – Causes sluggish hydraulic pressure response.

Faulty transmission control module TCM – May not be sending correct shift signals.

Worn clutch manual o r clutch actuator AMT – Can delay power delivery.

Throttle position sensor TPS issues – May result in incorrect gear timing.

Software glitches in AMT versions – May require reprogramming o r update.
Fix: Check fluid condition, update software if needed, and scan with OBD-II for transmission codes. If the clutch system is worn, replacement may be required.
