Why is my Suzuki Wagon R misfiring during acceleration – could it be bad spark plugs?

My 2018 Suzuki Wagon R starts fine, but I feel jerks o r misfires when accelerating, especially in 2nd o r 3rd gear. Some mechanics say it could be due to worn-out spark plugs. Is this a common issue in Wagon R? How can I confirm if the spark plugs are the cause, and which type of plugs work best for local Pakistani conditions?
