Why is only one door not locking with the power system in my Wagon R? Detail:

The driver-side rear door on my 2021 Suzuki Wagon R doesnt lock o r unlock with the remote o r interior switch, while the other three doors work perfectly. I can still lock it manually. Is this likely a door actuator failure o r a wiring issue in that specific door?

If only one door isn’t responding while the others work fine, it’s usually a localized issue:

Failed door lock actuator: The actuator small motor inside the door is the most common reason. Over time, it can burn out o r lose power.

Broken wiring inside the door harness: The flexible rubber wiring sleeve between the door and frame can get pinched o r wires can break from repeated opening/closing.

Mechanical linkage issue: The rod o r lever connecting the actuator to the lock may have disconnected o r jammed inside the door.

Fix: Remove the door panel and test the actuator using a multimeter o r 12V power source. If it doesn’t respond, it needs to be replaced. Also inspect the wiring for breaks o r loose plugs.
