Some users experience poor radio reception o r static noise while using the FM radio. Could this be an antenna issue o r a wiring problem, and how can it be resolved?

Weak o r distorted FM radio can be caused by:

Damaged o r loose antenna – Ensure the antenna is securely mounted and not physically damaged.

Bad antenna cable o r connector – The cable connecting the antenna to the stereo might be loose o r corroded.

Interference – Tall buildings, tunnels, and even other electronics in the car can cause signal interference.

Poor grounding – A bad ground connection in the stereo system can lead to audio issues, including static o r distortion.

Cheap aftermarket units – If you’ve replaced the stock unit with a lower-quality aftermarket one, it may not have strong radio reception capabilities.
