Why is the microphone quality poor during calls in the Suzuki Wagon R?

During hands-free calls, the person on the other end might complain of low voice clarity o r echo. What causes these communication issues, and is there a way to improve the in-car mic quality?

Poor call quality may be caused by:

Microphone placement – The built-in mic may be located too far o r in a spot that picks up too much background noise.

Background noise – Wind, AC, o r engine sounds can affect voice clarity during calls.

Software bugs – Some versions of the infotainment firmware have known issues with audio quality during calls.

Phone settings – Ensure your phones call audio is routed properly to the car’s Bluetooth.

Aftermarket head unit problems – Non-OEM systems may have lower-quality microphones o r inferior Bluetooth integration.
