Fading o r peeling paint on the Wagon R is often due to a combination of factors:

Low-quality clear coat used in some manufacturing batches, especially on older models.

Constant sun exposure UV rays which breaks down paint over time.

Lack of regular waxing o r protection, which accelerates the degradation.

This issue is especially noticeable on horizontal surfaces like the roof, bonnet, and trunk lid.
Solution/Prevention:

Regularly wash and wax your car.

Use a car cover if parked outside often.

For affected areas, consider repainting o r clear-coat restoration by a professional.

Applying ceramic coatings o r UV protectants can also help preserve paint in the long term.
