Audi Introduces Extended Range Q6L e-tron

Audi recently revealed the exterior of the Q6L e-tron during the Beijing Auto Show, featuring a longer-wheelbase design. The "L" designation indicates its extended length, surpassing the standard version by 105 mm, specifically tailored for the Chinese market. Measuring 4,884 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width, and 1,687 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,995 mm.

Impressive Range and Manufacturing Plans
Audi promises a remarkable CLTC range exceeding 700 km for the Audi Q6L e-tron upon its anticipated public debut between October and December. Production is scheduled to commence at a new facility in Changchun in "late 2024," with initial deliveries projected to commence next year.

Continuing the Legacy of "L" Models
Continuing the lineage of "L" models targeting the Chinese market, including the A6L, A4L, Q5L, and A8L, the Q6L e-tron showcases a revamped appearance, adorned with an illuminated four rings logo. Available in exclusive shades such as Lilac Grey, the model exhibited at the Beijing Auto Show exemplifies Audi's commitment to customization.

    

Innovative Technology and Performance
Equipped with a newly developed 107 kWh gross capacity battery and 800V technology, the Q6L e-tron boasts a maximum DC charging capacity of 270 kW. Audi emphasizes rapid charging capabilities, enabling a 260 km recharge in just ten minutes at high-power stations, with a 25-minute duration from 10% to 80% capacity. The model offers both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants, with power outputs ranging from 255 kW / 341 hp to 345 kW / 462 hp, complemented by 21-inch aerodynamically optimized wheels and seamlessly integrated door handles.

Tailored Interior and Advanced Driver Assistance
The interior of the Q6L e-tron is meticulously designed to cater to the preferences of Chinese consumers, featuring an array of infotainment functions tailored to meet their demands. Audi CEO Gernot Döllner affirms the interior's alignment with Chinese market requirements, as emphasized in the official press release. Furthermore, a suite of highly advanced driver assistance systems, including the adaptive Driving Assistant Pro and Parking Assistant Pro, is exclusively developed to meet the expectations of Chinese customers, leveraging lidar, radar, camera, and ultrasonic sensors for enhanced safety and convenience.
