CNG Stations In Sindh To Remain Closed For Three Days
The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has decided to halt the operations of CNG stations across the sindh due the severe shortage of gas reserves in the province. According to reports, the CNG stations in Sindh to remain closed for three years as per the decision of authority.
According to an official of SSGC, all the CNG stations are informed to stop the operations fro three days between 8 am on April 8, Friday, and 8 am on April 11, Monday.
He added that the closure is a part of the gas load management system which the SSGCL has enforced to cope with the ongoing shortfall. An official notification from the company read:
The SSGCL issued an official notification in this regard, It reads:
Keeping in view the short supply of gas in SSGCL system, the availability of gas has decreased resulting in depletion of line pack/low pressure in the system. In compliance with sectoral priority order in force for gas load management, all CNG Stations in Sindh (including those being operating on RLNG), will remain closed.
The SSGC monitors the supply of gas and manages the shortage of gas for the consumers especially n winters.
