Toyota has officially unveiled the all-new 2026 Toyota C-HR EV, a cutting-edge entry into the growing lineup of Toyota electric cars. This new Toyota EV has been launched specifically for the North American market, described by the company as "a bold addition to its electrified fleet." The C-HR EV launch signals Toyota’s increasing focus on high-performance and practical electric crossovers.
Powered by a robust electric motor, the Toyota EV SUV delivers 338 horsepower and features all-wheel drive. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just about 5 seconds. It runs on a 74.7 kW battery, offering an estimated driving range of 467 km. With an integrated NACS charging port, the C-HR EV supports Level 3 DC fast charging, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes under optimal conditions.



The 2026 Toyota C-HR reveal highlighted its sporty, coupe-inspired SUV styling. Built on Toyota’s advanced e-TNGA platform, it’s been designed with precise chassis tuning to match its dynamic performance. This 2026 Toyota crossover combines sleek aesthetics with functional design, including a powered liftgate and low-profile roof rails for added versatility.
Inside, the vehicle features a high-tech cabin centered around a 14-inch touchscreen running the Toyota Audio Multimedia system. Entertainment options are enhanced through Wi-Fi Connect, which enables integrated streaming from Apple Music and Amazon Music. Remote Connect, available via the Toyota app as a three-year trial, gives users control over various functions like unlocking the rear hatch, adjusting the climate, and turning on headlights remotely.

In terms of dimensions, the Toyota C-HR electric SUV measures 4,519 mm in length, 1,869 mm in width, and 1,621 mm in height, with a 2,751 mm wheelbase. It also offers a generous trunk capacity of 719.2 liters, making it both stylish and spacious.
The Toyota C-HR EV will begin arriving at dealerships in 2026. Warranty coverage includes three years or 57,940 km for the vehicle, five years or 96,600 km for the powertrain, and eight years or 161,000 km for essential EV driving components, including the battery.
