A lime yellow Deepal S07 SUV was seen in Karachi near the Master Changan Motors Limited plant in the Port Qasim area. This suggests the vehicle is in the final stages of road tests before its official launch in Pakistan, heightening anticipation among automotive enthusiasts.

The sightings of these vehicles have created a buzz among car enthusiasts, hinting at the imminent arrival of Deepal’s electric vehicles from Master Changan Motors Limited. Although official details are scarce, Deepal has launched social media pages on Facebook and Instagram, building excitement.

Innovative Technology

Deepal, a brand focused on electric vehicles by Changan, is a product of a joint venture with Huawei and CATL, the world’s leading battery manufacturer. The vehicles feature the Harmony OS 4 operating system developed by Huawei, running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 platform, and are equipped with a 68kWh battery from CATL, offering a range of over 530 kilometers.

The Deepal L07 Sedan is a mid-sized vehicle measuring 4820 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, and 1480 mm in height, with a 2900 mm wheelbase and R19 wheels. The Deepal S07 SUV measures 4750 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1625 mm in height, with a similar wheelbase and 20-inch wheels. Both models, designed by ex-General Motors veteran Bertrand Bach, feature sporty and futuristic designs with frameless doors and a "Fastback" stance on the sedan. Speculation suggests that the official launch of these vehicles could happen within the next two to three months.
