Lahore Become E-ticketing Zone

A meeting was held in Lahore, which was chaired by the Inspector general of Police, Captain Usman Khattak and it has been decided that the Lahore-ticketing project will be completed within one month. He addressed the meeting, which was conducted at the Integrated Command and Control Center, Lahore and he said that the use of e-ticketing project will help in supervising the traffic violations and it is commendable idea to solve the problems of traffic. He also said that it must be ensured that the program is implemented very immediately.
The e-chalan will be issued to the violators of the traffic police and their vehicle registration credentials are prepared according to the CNICV and IGP urged the traffic police to have coordination with Safe City IC3 project to ensure the streamline of the challan system. The IGP also directed the Lahore Chief Traffic officer and project director IC3 to monitor the progress of the project personally so that it can be prepared within time.
The MD Lahore Safe City Project told IGP that the project is being installed for optical fiber and it is in final phase and the cameras are being installed on the Motorway tool plaza. These cameras will help to monitor the traffic entering and existing in Lahore.
The DIG traffic police Punjab and CTO Lahore stated that there are nine digital signboards for traffic awareness to install on the five particular roads. There are plans to initiate the training courses for elevation of traffic police wardens were discussed in the meeting.
